Overview
Element has an opportunity for an Associate Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
To carry out stack emissions monitoring, ambient air quality monitoring, soil and groundwater monitoring, noise monitoring and industrial hygiene monitoring
Assist with planning and execution of projects
Assist with report preparation for the maintenance and calibration of environmental department equipment
Assist with maintenance of Health and Safety and Quality standards within a UKAS accredited 17025 quality management systems.
Skills / Qualifications
Minimum diploma or degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline
Holds a valid Class 3 / 3A Singapore Driving License
Relevant laboratory experience will be an advantage
Ability to move physically between lab and sites
Ability to work independently
