US Tax Associate Trainee Responsibilities
Location: Mumbai, India
Work Arrangement: In-office/Hybrid (in office attendance is expected daily during busy season)
A Day in the Life:
A typical day as a US Tax Associate Trainee in Mumbai, India might include the following, but is not limited to:
• Preparing tax returns for Partnerships, Corporations, Individuals, and other areas including but not limited to Estate and Gift, Trusts and Non-profits, W-2s, 1099s.
• Collaborating with our teams in US and India to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed.
• Gathering relevant tax-related information from the Manager and/or client ensuring completeness and accuracy of the returns.
• Learning how to look at tax situations from various perspectives to ensure effective tax planning.
• Updating asset depreciation schedules timely and effectively.
• May be asked to assist others with general software troubleshooting issues and depreciation software.
• Attending training seminars on a regular basis.
• Performing other accounting and tax related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
