The Ideal candidate The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting creative talent and understand the demands of the VFX industry. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing recruitment, talent development, and workforce planning while building strong relationships with artists and production teams to support the studio's long-term success.
Responsibilities Talent Acquisition
Recruit high-calibre VFX professionals across all disciplines
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent
Source candidates through networking, industry events, referrals and recruitment platforms
Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring processes
Manage offer negotiations and onboarding
Talent Management
Act as the main point of contact for artists throughout their employment
Support career development discussions and progression planning
Conduct regular check-ins with employees and freelancers
Work with department leads to identify development opportunities
Support performance review processes
Resource Planning
Partner with Production and Resource Managers to understand staffing requirements
Forecast future hiring needs based on project schedules
Assist with workforce planning and succession planning
Monitor utilisation and availability of artists
Employee Experience
Foster a positive and inclusive studio culture
Support employee engagement initiatives
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Assist with wellbeing initiatives and employee support.
HR & Compliance
Ensure recruitment complies with employment legislation and company policies
Maintain accurate employee records
Manage all HR administration
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in a similar role
This is a hybrid role but would need you in the office at least 2 days a week. This is a fixed term contract role of 12 months.
