The intern will assist with live audit and tax engagements while completing accounting training exercises. They will also support the team on various accounting-related projects across multiple industry specialties.
Applicants must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior majoring in Accounting or Finance. Candidates must be able to commit to at least 25 hours per week during the summer.

Participate in a full orientation and training program.
Gain firsthand experience into the world of public accounting to gauge your level of interest.
Complete accounting and tax training exercises while being mentored by senior members of our team.
Provide assistance on "live" audit and tax engagements.
Complete other accounting-related projects and as needed to support the DunlapSLK team.
Gain experience from associates, seniors, managers and partners who have an interest in helping you succeed.
Have exposure to a wide variety of industry specialties. Examples include construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations.
Receive advice on pursuing your CPA designation.
Participate in firm events and charitable outreach activities.
Experience a flexible work schedule to work around academic responsibilities.
Receive financial compensation and support for any academic credit requirements.
