Met onze doelstelling 'Redefining Packaging for a Changing World' en onze duurzaamheidsstrategie 'Now and Next' zetten wij ons in om de transitie naar de circulaire economie te leiden. Je ziet onze verpakkingsoplossingen in de supermarkt of krijgt ze thuisbezorgd vanuit de bekende e-commerce kanalen.
Als Laboratorium Medewerker speel je een belangrijke rol in het bewaken en verbeteren van onze productkwaliteit. Je voert laboratoriumtesten uit op halffabricaten en eindproducten en vertaalt deze resultaten naar waardevolle inzichten die bijdragen aan kwaliteitsverbetering en procesbeheersing. Je werkt nauw samen met de kwaliteitsafdeling bij het waarborgen van kwaliteitsnormen, het onderzoeken van afwijkingen en het ondersteunen van verbeterinitiatieven.
In deze rol rapporteer je aan de Senior Process Engineer.
Instellen van instrumenten en apparatuur en zelfstandig uitvoeren van de geselecteerde testen en analyses.
Analyseren en beoordelen van meetresultaten aan de hand van specificaties, klantvereisten en relevante wet- en regelgeving (UN).
Interpreteren van resultaten en deze overleggen met je leidinggevende om te bepalen of controle-/vervolganalyses uitgevoerd moeten worden.
Operationeel verantwoordelijk voor de planning en opvolging van het sample plan en het verzamelen van samples conform de standaarden bij DS Smith.
Opstellen van certificaten (COA’s) en verstrekken aan onze klanten binnen de vastgestelde termijn.
Uitvoeren van concurrentieanalyses op verzoek van de afdeling verkoop en rapporteren van resultaten.
Coördineren en uitvoeren van periodieke kalibraties en verificaties van laboratoriumapparatuur.
Het vastleggen en actualiseren van gewijzigde werkmethodieken in 1-puntslessen.
Zo nodig supporten van de kwaliteitsafdeling in projecten en bij interne audits.
Zorgdragen voor een veilige, georganiseerde en goed functionerende laboratoriumomgeving en het beheer van de klimaatregeling.
Je hebt een relevante MBO opleiding afgerond, bij voorkeur in een meer technische of analytische richting.
Bij voorkeur heb je al wat ervaring opgedaan in een “onderzoekende omgeving”.
Zeer goede communicatieve vaardigheden (in zowel woord als geschrift), zowel in het Nederlands als het Engels.
Je bent analytisch en zoekt dingen graag tot op de bodem uit.
Je bent accuraat en resultaatgericht.
Je kunt snel schakelen in werkzaamheden en weet de juiste prioriteiten te stellen;
Je bent stressbestendig;
Je kunt goed zelfstandig werken, maar zeker ook in teamverband.
