The Site Engineer is responsible for the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for a thermal drying plant. They ensure all electrical works are delivered safely and efficiently in alignment with project specifications and across multiple disciplines.
Candidates must hold a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in construction or industrial projects. Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings and familiarity with AS/NZS standards and automation systems is required.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and capable Site Engineer Electrical to join our Energy & Utilities team, supporting delivery on a key infrastructure project based in Wellington, Seaview.
In this site-based role, you will play a critical part in the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems associated with a thermal drying plant. This includes MCCs, switchboards, cabling, field instrumentation, SCADA, and automation systems.
You will be responsible for ensuring electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications, while supporting high quality outcomes and seamless integration across mechanical, civil, and control disciplines.
