The machinist is responsible for setting up and proving out CNC mill machines using engineering programs and installing necessary tooling. They must inspect parts for conformance to specifications and ensure smooth hand-offs to operators during shift changes.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience operating CNC milling machines. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools like micrometers and comparators is required.
