Requires a valid driver's license with a clean record and experience driving flatbed trucks and towing trailers. Candidates must be able to lift 40 pounds, use GPS navigation, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Description
The Field Driver is a dependable, safety-focused professional responsible for the timely transportation of packaging materials, produce, and agricultural equipment between company facilities and rural field locations. This role requires the operation of flatbed trucks, towing of trailers, and the movement of tractor and field equipment while maintaining the highest standards of driving and load safety, and efficiency. Additionally, operates forklifts to load, unload, and stage materials, ensuring products are handled securely and delivered in excellent condition.
Driving in rural areas during early morning and nighttime hours is required, including working overtime, weekends, and holidays.
The ability to effectively use a smartphone and GPS navigation applications, including locating and navigating to delivery and pickup locations using shared pin drops and map coordinates, is required.
