Provide personal care and supervision to patients in a behavioral health setting, ensuring safety through regular checks and documentation. Facilitate rehabilitative groups and assist patients with activities of daily living while maintaining a professional and empathetic environment.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for six months of experience working with the facility's specific population. Candidates must obtain CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certifications.
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
· CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
· First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

At our center, we provide treatment for those addicted to substances such as alcohol, heroin, prescription drugs, cocaine, meth, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, and opioids. From a psychological standpoint, we provide care for those grappling with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, PTSD, and schizoaffective disorder. To address all of these issues, we supply a number of therapeutic services. These services include family therapy, experiential therapy, group therapy, individual therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, rational-emotive therapy, choice therapy, and a number of groups (such as gratitude groups, recovery groups, and 12-Step meetings).
