The specialist manages customer inquiries and tracks freight shipments from pickup to delivery. They coordinate between customers and drivers to resolve delivery issues and monitor performance metrics.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of FMCSR and DOT requirements is required.
1. Serve as a primary customer contact for shipment-related inquiries.
2. Track freight from pickup through delivery and provide proactive updates.
3. Process and Monitor EDI transactions accurately and timely.
4. Identify and communicate service issues, delays, or risks immediately.
5. Coordinate with drivers and customers to resolve issues.
6. Monitor and report on-time pickups and delivery performance.
On call Friday 6:00PM-Sunday 10:00PM
In Office 7:00-3:00 Saturday, 7:00-3:00 Sunday
