Who is Comprehensive Healthcare? Comprehensive Healthcare provides innovative behavioral health and integrated healthcare services to clients of all ages. What are we looking for in a Therapist? Therapists at Comprehensive utilize evidence-based practices to provide clients and their families with support in learning new skills and connecting to community resources. Counseling and skill development may be provided through individual or group sessions, depending on need. Therapist positions require excellent listening and communication skills, as well as a desire to collaborate to assist each client with reaching his or her recovery goals. Clinical supervision and training in evidence-based practices are provided as part of this position. We currently have Therapist positions available with our Outpatient team in Ellensburg, which serves children, families and adults who are experiencing a wide variety of mental health diagnoses, including some individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders. The Therapist for the outpatient team will be onsite to work with clients at our outpatient clinic, with a regular Monday-Friday 8-hour work schedule.
Therapist duties may include
providing individual and family therapy facilitating behavioral health groups completing mental health intakes and assessments collaborating with each client to create an individualized treatment plan assessing clients for safety and risk to self or others, and taking appropriate crisis intervention measures when indicated assisting with case management as needed thorough and timely completion of required clinical documentation
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field Two years of previous experience providing behavioral health treatment is preferred Must be eligible for designation as Mental Health Professional Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance In compliance with state and federal law, Comprehensive Healthcare requires all candidates to complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check. Please refer to WAC 388-113-0020 through 388-113-0030 for information on criminal convictions and pending charges that automatically disqualify an individual from working for Comprehensive Healthcare.
