• Accueillir les invités rapidement et chaleureusement dans la salle à manger; prendre les commandes des aliments et des boissons de manière efficace en suivant les étapes établies de service.
• Servir les aliments dans les temps voulus avec professionnalisme; maintenir les normes sécuritaires en matière de manipulation des aliments et d’hygiène. Assurer périodiquement le suivi pour assister avec tout besoin ou demande additionnelle.
• Démontrer une compréhension complète des articles du menu et des ingrédients. Conseiller les invités sur les alliages adéquats d’aliments et de boisson sur demande; accommoder les demandes raisonnables et prendre note des préférences. Démontrer des connaissances en matière de régimes spécialisés.
• Communiquer directement avec le personnel aux cuisines pour assurer que les commandes sont livrées correctement et que les demandes spéciales sont prises en compte.
• Répondre aux plaintes ou aux problèmes rapidement; transmettre les informations ou les plaintes pertinentes directement au superviseur.
• S’assurer que la salle à manger est adéquatement préparée avant et après la période de service; garder la zone propre et ordonnée tout en répondant aux normes établies d’hygiène.
• Travailler avec le personnel des autres services pour exécuter les tâches liées au poste lors des événements spéciaux et des fonctions.
