Provide academic tutoring and assistance in developmental and entry-level college math courses to individuals and small groups. This includes embedding in classrooms to clarify course material and creating adjunct instructional activities to enhance learning.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics or a related discipline and competence to tutor subjects through pre-calculus. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and maintain student confidentiality per FERPA.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics or a related discipline.
Experience with synchronous online tutoring, developing lesson plans, and group tutoring
Ability to work a flexible schedule combining days, nights, and weekends.
This position is generally limited to working a maximum of 19.5 hours per week. (Maximum hours for employees with more than one part-time position at Collin College may vary.)
Licenses and Certifications
Official transcript(s) required. International transcripts require an English translation and a course-by-course evaluation from an approved agency.
