Responsible for receiving, sampling, and unloading inbound bulk shipments of used oil via rail and truck. Oversees other Blending and Unloading Operators while ensuring compliance with safety policies and government regulations.
Preferred experience includes 2-3 years in chemical blending and 3+ years in a supervisory or lead role within a production environment. Candidates must be able to work in various weather conditions and possess basic computer skills.
Safety-Kleen Systems, in Metairie, LA, is looking for a Blending & Loading Operator Lead to join their safety conscious team! This leader will be responsible for receiving, sampling and unloading all inbound bulk shipments of used oil by rail, and truck as well as overseeing other Blending & Unloading Operators. This individual will work within all local, state, and federal rules and regulations; and follow all Safety-Kleen policies and procedures.
This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Pay, schedule, and testing requirements are governed by the union contract.
Work Schedule (per CBA): Monday-Friday; 6AM-2PM
Hourly Wage Range (per CBA): $21-$27/HR
