The Manual Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating various manual machines to produce parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves managing stock inventory and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 3 to 5 years of machinist experience in a job shop or production environment. Proficiency in operating manual machines is mandatory, while experience with CNC lathes and Auto-Cad is considered a plus.
HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Manual Machinist to join their safety conscious team! This opportunity is based out of the La Porte, TX area. This is a Manufacturing job shop that is seeking a Manual Machinist to carry out machining duties as directed. This team member will be responsible for producing machined parts by setting up, and operating Drill Presses, Mills, Horizontal Lathes, & VTLs; maintaining all quality and safety standards; keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies. The Manual Machinist may also plan stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock and verifying receipt of stock.
NOT A CNC MACHINIST POSTION – MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A MANUAL MACHINE TO BE CONSIDERED
