circular. fashion - a catalyst guiding, verifying and scaling circular products
circular. fashion, Standard Holder of the Circular Design Standard (CDS), is a catalyst for circular transformation in fashion through defining, enabling and scaling circular products.
The Circular Design Standard (CDS) sits at the heart of what we do, and empowers brands to design, certify and label circular products. With rising regulatory pressure and environmental urgency, the CDS offers a clear path to meet and exceed compliance requirements, and to lead in advanced product circularity. Developed over five years and tested by leading brands, the standard is now ready to scale across the industry and we need your help to do it.
Aufgaben
As Certification Manager you will hold a crucial position in the circular. fashion team, working closely with colleagues across disciplines. This is a brand-new role: responsibilities currently distributed across several team members will be brought together on one desk. This position is to be filled towards autumn 2026.
Refine set-up and implementation of a certification process for textiles: further refining the journey from brand self-assessment through pre-verification, and final certification on the CDS platform
Stakeholder identification and management: Coordinating brands (standard users), certification bodies, and internal teams
Knowledge-Building on Regulations and Knowledge-Sharing: staying current on ESPR, EPR, EmpCo and DPP, translating them for the CDS
Quality Management: Safeguarding the integrity and consistency of how the standard is applied
Documentation: Maintaining rigorous, structured records across all certification cases
Being an expert to present to partners / stakeholders
Qualifikation
At least 4 years experience in the textile sector, ideally in sustainability, product development, supply chain or materials
Hands-on experience with certification schemes, standards or third-party auditing/verification
In-depth knowledge of textile regulation, national and international e.g ESPR, EPR, EmpCo and DPP and how it translates into concrete product and documentation requirements
Experience in managing external stakeholders and partners
A high sense of responsibility and ownership
A passion for structure and structured documentation
A dedicated, focused team player committed to circular. fashion’s mission
Language skills in both German and English
