Coordinate and execute ministry events for individuals with special needs, including recruiting and training volunteers for respite care and VBS. Manage all logistics for the Ascent and Special Saturdays programs, including registration, meal planning, and facility setup.
A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, along with 1-3 years of experience in special needs ministry and event planning. Candidates must be evangelical Christians and active members of an evangelical church, specifically Christ Presbyterian Church.

POSITION PURPOSE: Partner with the Special Needs Department and the Christ Presbyterian Church to support and execute ministry events and initiatives to further the spiritual discipleship of individuals with special needs and their families.
DIRECT REPORT: Director of Special Needs
SCHEDULE: Part-Time - Two days per week (Mon- Thurs) (9am - 3pm), Sunday (7:30 - 12:30), may vary with end time of Sunday
Rotating hours for Sunday evening Ascent event, Special Saturdays setup and event, and VsBS with increase in hours and days leading up to and during events
Requirements
Pursue an intimate relationship with the Lord including devotion, prayer and study
