The Inpatient Unit Supervisor ensures the implementation of child care plans and maintains compliance with internal and external healthcare regulations. They are responsible for supervising staff through hiring, coaching, and performance management to achieve high-quality clinical outcomes.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed as an LPN or RN in Iowa, with a BSN preferred. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience in pediatrics or rehabilitation and specialty certifications such as CPN, CBIS, or CRRN.
The Inpatient Unit Supervisor is responsible for ensuring care and staff related outcomes are met in their area of responsibility. Ensures compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, and accreditations for area of supervision. Weekend unit supervisor is responsible for the supervision of both inpatient units.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
What You'll Do
What You'll Need
5 years of nursing experience in pediatrics, rehabilitation and/or with children with complex medical conditions preferred. Specialty nursing certifications preferred (CPN, CBIS, CRRN).
Documentation of current CPR/BLS certification
