The Application Engineer will lead aftermarket technical tendering for API pumps, ensuring accurate costings and commercial proposals. They will coordinate with sales teams, customers, and sub-suppliers to manage the inquiry-to-order process and support successful order placement.
Candidates must hold a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering with at least 7 years of experience in technical tendering for API or non-API pumps. Strong commercial acumen, ERP proficiency, and effective communication skills in English and Hindi are required.
Lead Application Engineer will report into Regional Commercial Operations Lead – Pump AM, APAC and the position will be based at Bangalore. The incumbent will support in the aftermarket technical tendering jobs for API Pumps (ClydeUnion) replacement pumps, spare parts & services. She/He will assist regional sales team, channel partners/customers to verify their requirements and specifications and will prepare competitive costings / quotations / tenders that are both technically and commercially accurate, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
