The Mechanical & Test Engineer will design mechanical components using SolidWorks and conduct structured hardware testing. This includes running Python-driven test scripts, calibrating sensors, and iterating on prototypes for interceptor drones.
Candidates must hold a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering and possess industry experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Python scripting for hardware testing, and hands-on prototyping skills are required.

CDDS (Counter-Drone Defense Systems) specializes in developing low-collateral kinetic interceptors designed to neutralize malicious drones. Our solutions are built for precision and safety, minimizing risk to surroundings while effectively countering unauthorized or threatening unmanned aerial systems. We work at the cutting edge of counter-drone technology, delivering reliable protection for critical assets and environments.
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical components in SolidWorks and run the structured hardware testing - Python-driven test scripts, sensor validation and calibration- that helps us select the best components for our interceptor drone.

The threat of spionage, sabotage and terror using small, fast-moving drones is growing rapidly worldwide. Civil infrastructure, such as airports, power substations, data centres, sports events, and public gatherings, is increasingly at risk. These threats are also highly relevant to national security and defense, requiring scalable & cost-effective solutions to secure the airspace. CDDS develops autonomous kinetic interceptor (counter- or C-UAS) drones designed to physically neutralize hostile drones (hard kill) with minimal collateral damage, a capability that is urgently needed and globally sought after. By calculating optimal collision angles in real time, our drones leverage kinetic interception technology to deliver a highly agile, swarm-capable and cost-effective solution for addressing evolving aerial threats.
