The engineer will take full responsibility for field tests, customer demonstrations, and the development of the low-level control stack. They will write maintainable code under tight constraints to optimize the flight software for high-speed kinetic interceptor drones.
Requires an MSc in Robotics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with strong C++ skills and experience with flight stacks like PX4. Candidates must be open to frequent international travel for testing and demonstrations.

We are looking for people who thrive in a fast paced start-up, on rapid prototyping, and hands-on flight testing. Implementing quick fixes and tests under pressure. Additionally, you are ready to travel to test locations abroad and be part of customer demonstrations all over the world.Required

The threat of spionage, sabotage and terror using small, fast-moving drones is growing rapidly worldwide. Civil infrastructure, such as airports, power substations, data centres, sports events, and public gatherings, is increasingly at risk. These threats are also highly relevant to national security and defense, requiring scalable & cost-effective solutions to secure the airspace. CDDS develops autonomous kinetic interceptor (counter- or C-UAS) drones designed to physically neutralize hostile drones (hard kill) with minimal collateral damage, a capability that is urgently needed and globally sought after. By calculating optimal collision angles in real time, our drones leverage kinetic interception technology to deliver a highly agile, swarm-capable and cost-effective solution for addressing evolving aerial threats.
