The Senior Sales Engineer will develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business while managing client relationships in the welding products sector. They are responsible for coordinating with production and supply chain departments to ensure efficient service delivery and timely payment collection.
Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience in the welding industry. Preference is given to those with a background in core sectors such as Cement, Mining, or Power.
· Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business opportunities and increase sales.
· Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales plans, including setting targets, developing promotional strategies, and coordinating with the sales team.
· Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
· Market Research: Identify and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the maintenance and repair welding products & service sector.
· Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest products and technologies in welding and maintenance and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
· Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
· Payment: Ensuring timely payment collection from direct business & through distributor.
· Coordination: Coordinate with supply chain and production dept for drawings, jobs, stocks, and logistics.
