Requirements

Requires 12 units in Child Development or a related field and at least 6 months of experience working with children. Candidates must pass DOJ fingerprinting, background clearance, and health screenings.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and engage elementary-aged students in a safe and supportive environment • Lead hands-on STEAM activities, games, crafts, sports, and enrichment experiences • Foster positive friendships and social-emotional growth • Support homework completion and positive behavior development • Create fun, engaging experiences that children look forward to each day • Build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff • Serve as a mentor and positive role model for young learners • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care

What You'll Need

  • 12 units in Child Development or a related field such as Education, Psychology, Sociology, Art, Music, Theater, or Physical Education • Minimum of 6 months experience working with children • DOJ fingerprint and background clearance • TB test and health screening • Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
