The physical therapist is responsible for assessing patient functional status, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and instructing families on care. They also supervise physical therapy assistants and coordinate with physicians to ensure effective rehabilitation and discharge planning.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in physical therapy and possess a valid license from the Physical Therapy Board of California. A minimum of two years of experience is required, with preference given to those with a background in community or home health settings.
