The Service Technician is responsible for cleaning vacuum pump components using specialized equipment and performing preventive maintenance on shop machinery. They must also operate material handling equipment and assist in maintaining Lean manufacturing activities to meet production goals.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment and possess a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to pass safety, drug, and background screenings are required.

Vac-Tech has an immediate direct-hire opportunity for Service Technician 1 at our service center in Tempe, Az! The work schedule is M-F 7am-330pm. The targeted compensation range for this position is $18-20 per hour, depending on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
A Service Technician 1 prepares equipment for our vacuum pump remanufacturing process. The primary responsibilities are to clean vacuum pump components using a high-pressure parts washer, bead blaster, sand blaster, or other cleaning equipment.
