Responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient vital signs, and maintaining accurate healthcare records using the Predicaire system. The role involves assessing and implementing nursing care plans while collaborating with the healthcare team to modify treatments based on patient responses.
Requires a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a minimum of 3 years of experience. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and pass an enhanced DBS check.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Broomgrove Trust Nursing Home for the position of Registered Nurse on BANK who possesses a genuine commitment to providing high quality nursing care within our care setting. This is a unique chance to work in a friendly and professional environment within our charitable organization. Our Clinical Nurse manager and the other nurses on duty are always available to help (on each shift there is a minimum of 2 nurses for our 40-bed unit).
Bank RGN - zero hours contract
Shift 7:30 - 15:00 or 14:30 - 22:00, or you can work what we call a double shift 7:30 - 22:00 (and enjoy more days off every week).

Our daily routine is very relaxed and each resident is supported to take every day according to how they feel, what they want to do, and how they want to do it. Our 50 qualified nurses and trained care assistants provide 24-hour care for people with a wide range of nursing and personal needs. Clients soon see that we care in the fullest sense of the word. This reflects the personal qualities of our staff as much as their professional standing. “I like the friendliness of the staff and the informality of the home. They’ll do anything for you and their patience is endless.” In addition to general nursing, a number of our nurses have extensive hospice and/or palliative care experience, giving us exceptional levels of expertise in nursing people with progressive, incurable physical illnesses, as well as providing excellent end-of-life care for all residents. Some of our nurses also have qualifications in mental health nursing. This allows for expert advice and care for our residents with memory problems. At Broomgrove we don’t cater for residents with progressive dementia needs or challenging behaviour. We also specialise in short term respite care and convalescent care. We have rooms dedicated to these residents. Respite care allows carers at home to have that all important break or elderly people living on their own a short spell of recuperation from an illness. Convalescent care is ideally suited to provide support to those who require extra care between hospital and home following an operation.
