Must possess a Texas Food Handlers Card and TABC Certificate with the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Requires the physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation: $18 PER HOUR
Reports to: Banquet Manager
Schedule: Evenings and Weekends preferred
Established in 1920, Brook Hollow Golf Club enjoys a strong reputation as one of Dallas’ most historic and exclusive private clubs. World-class facilities including a fully renovated golf course that was completed in 2020, a sports complex for tennis, pickleball, wellness and swimming, and a famed ballroom in which are presented some of Dallas’ most memorable and fashionable social events. We are a high-end service golf operation looking for highly energetic, team-oriented members to provide the best possible service for a high-profile membership.
Performs related banquet (dining room) set-up tasks.
Performs synchronized service as a team.
Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
Takes cocktail order and serves food in specified station.
Pour and refill wine, coffee, water and/or other beverages served with and after the meal.
Clears soiled dishes as needed.
Cleans all assigned work areas in kitchen and dining room.
Advises supervisor of any member/guest complaints as soon as they occur.
Performs additional duties as directed by a supervisor or manager.
Always creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
Should have an eye for detail.
Must possess honesty and integrity.
Must always be courteous and tactful.
Must be innovative and look for areas that need improvement.
Must present a professional appearance and mannerisms.
Keep composure in a fast-paced environment.
Relay important information about allergies and dietary restrictions to manager on Duty.

The origins of the golf course go back to when Dallas businessman Cameron Buxton asked his friend A.W. Tillinghast to find a location for a golf course in the Dallas area. Tillinghast chose a then rural setting beside a branch of the Trinity River west of Dallas. At the time, the course was built on open and rolling farmland that is now surrounded by commercial properties due to the outward development of the metropolitan area. Brook Hollow remains a stately and peaceful oasis; a refuge for its members among the hustle and bustle of the city. Brook Hollow’s A.W. Tillinghast-designed golf course has hosted championships of significance over nine decades.
