Job Description:
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven professional responsible for partnering closely with Clients, Contractors, Project Managers, Engineering Teams, and Department Leadership to develop, maintain, analyze, and report on complex project schedules, budgets, forecasts, progress measurements, earned value metrics, and project performance. This role serves as a key member of the Project Controls team, ensuring projects are planned, executed, and monitored effectively throughout the entire project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in engineering and construction project environments, demonstrated expertise with Primavera P6 scheduling, and a strong understanding of project controls methodologies. This position requires regular interaction with client stakeholders and will involve time spent both at client offices and active project/construction sites. A willingness and ability to travel as required is essential.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 to support engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution activities.

Develop and implement project controls processes, procedures, and best practices related to scheduling, forecasting, progress measurement, reporting, and performance monitoring.

Establish and maintain baseline schedules, track schedule performance, identify variances, and provide recovery plans and mitigation strategies when required.

Participate in weekly and monthly project reviews with clients, contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to provide schedule analysis, forecasting, cost reporting, and project performance updates.

Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful project status reports, dashboards, forecasts, and executive-level presentations.

Support earned value analysis, schedule risk assessments, change management activities, and project forecasting efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Experience:

Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale engineering, infrastructure, industrial, energy, petrochemical, or construction projects.

Strong understanding of engineering project phases, including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
Technical Skills:

Experience with project controls software and scheduling tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, and other reporting platforms.

Knowledge of earned value management (EVM), forecasting, cost control, budgeting, and progress measurement methodologies.
Management:
-
No direct management experience required; however, proven ability to influence, collaborate, and coordinate across multidisciplinary project teams is preferred.
