Lead a team of production engineers in defining integrated planning, safety, and quality plan execution across the Fabrication division. Manage the development of tools and planning artifacts while ensuring alignment with production schedules and safety management system maturity.
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or related technical field and at least 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering. Candidates must have at least one year of formal leadership experience or completion of the internal Boeing leadership course.
Boeing Commercial Airplanes Fabrication Engineering is seeking a Fabrication Production Engineering First Line Manager to lead a team defining Integrated Planning, Safety and Quality Plan execution, and Safety Management System (SMS) maturity and operations across Fabrication.
This role is responsible for leading a team that develops and maintains the tools, standard requirements, and planning artifacts used by production teams as part of their work statement. With a focus on Assembly/Detail Process Planning (ADPP), this team will lead Fabrication’s Safety and Quality Plan to guide Work Instruction Improvements (ADPP and IP) and Design Build Assessments (DBA).
The successful candidate will also support the continued maturity of the Safety Management System and the monthly operations cadence supporting the Fabrication SMS Board. This position requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to build collaborative relationships across engineering, manufacturing, and operational support organizations.
This position will be based in Auburn, Washington and is expected to be 100% onsite.

Summary pay range: $151,300 – $204,700
