Responsibilities

The First Shift Industrial Mechanic is responsible for assembling fabricated and machined components to build shot blast equipment. Key duties include reading blueprints, operating overhead cranes for loading, and performing final quality inspections on all parts.

Requirements

Candidates must have over 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience and proven proficiency in operating overhead cranes. Knowledge of hydraulic systems and welding experience are preferred.

Descripción General: Bajo la dirección del Gerente de Ensamble, el Mecánico Industrial de Primer Turno ensamblará componentes fabricados y mecanizados para construir equipos de granallado (shot blast). Funciones y Responsabilidades Esenciales: Esta lista de funciones y responsabilidades no es exhaustiva y podrá ampliarse para incluir otras tareas y responsabilidades que la gerencia considere necesarias ocasionalmente.
  1. Gran capacidad mecánica para ensamblar componentes fabricados y mecanizados.
  2. Capacidad para asegurar cargas y cargar camiones utilizando grúas puente de manera independiente.
  3. Capacidad para realizar ensamblajes avanzados de maquinaria, desde equipos pequeños hasta maquinaria de gran tamaño.
  4. Comprensión completa de la lectura e interpretación de planos y diagramas esquemáticos.
  5. Se prefiere experiencia en reparación de equipos industriales pesados.
  6. Determinar las herramientas y la maquinaria adecuadas necesarias para cumplir con el programa de producción.
  7. Realizar la inspección final de todas las piezas para garantizar el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad.
  8. Completar la capacitación mensual obligatoria de seguridad.
  9. Brindar apoyo tanto a clientes internos como externos.
  10. Proporcionar soporte y respaldo cuando sea necesario.
  11. Mantener un área de trabajo limpia, segura y organizada.
  12. Se prefiere experiencia en soldadura, aunque no es un requisito.
  13. Ayudar a promover y respaldar la cultura y los valores fundamentales de BCT.
Calificaciones:
  • Habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita.
  • Atención al detalle, minuciosidad, habilidades para la resolución de problemas y capacidad para tomar decisiones y dar seguimiento.
  • Habilidades matemáticas que incluyan la capacidad de sumar, restar, multiplicar y dividir, así como realizar conversiones del sistema métrico.
  • Conocimientos mecánicos.
Educación/Experiencia:
  • Se requiere experiencia operando grúas puente (overhead cranes).
  • Se requieren más de 3 años de experiencia relevante en manufactura o en un entorno similar.
  • Se prefiere experiencia en el ensamblaje de maquinaria industrial pesada.
  • La experiencia en sistemas hidráulicos es una ventaja.
