The Buyer manages procurement activities, including processing purchase orders and coordinating with manufacturing and engineering to ensure timely inventory acquisition. They are also responsible for maintaining supply chain metrics, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring data integrity within the procurement system.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in military or aerospace electronics. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with MRP/ERP systems.

Summary/Objective
Under the general guidance of the Production Manager and the Director of Finance, the Buyer reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions. Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. Processes purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers. Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity.
