Bitonet Ltd. is building a new AI-powered software product with strong international growth potential.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to help us build the product.

This is not a role where you'll simply implement predefined tickets or maintain a legacy codebase. You'll have the opportunity to influence the architecture, technology choices, development processes, and ultimately shape the entire product.

What will you be building?

You'll help take a new AI product from concept to production and ultimately to international markets.

Your work will involve areas such as:

· Applied AI and machine learning

· Computer vision

· Backend services and APIs

· Modern web technologies

· Databases and data modeling

· Cloud infrastructure and Linux environments

· Security, performance, and scalability

More details about the product will be shared during the later stages of the recruitment process.

What will you do?

Your work will be varied, independent, and technically challenging. Typical responsibilities include:

· Designing software architecture and developing new features

· Designing and implementing AI functionality

· Building backend services, APIs, and databases

· Developing modern web user interfaces

· Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure

· Improving system performance, security, and scalability

· Evaluating and adopting new technologies

· Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product development, and UX design

What are we looking for?

You have experience delivering production software and enjoy solving technically demanding problems.

You have experience with several of the following:

· Python

· AI and machine learning solutions

· REST APIs

· React, Next.js, or similar frontend technologies

· SQL and PostgreSQL

· Docker

· Claude Code

· Codex

· Linux

· Git and CI/CD

Experience with any of the following is considered an advantage:

· PyTorch

· TensorFlow

· OpenCV

· MLOps

· Computer Vision solutions

· Building scalable SaaS applications

· Large Language Models (LLMs)

· Data engineering tools

· Deploying AI solutions into production business environments

We particularly value hands-on experience integrating AI solutions into production software used by real customers.

Excellent English communication skills are required. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.
