BDO Ireland is currently seeking a Qualified Audit Senior to join the Financial Services - Insurance Audit team within our Audit Department. Our Financial Services audit department continues to experience significant growth, and we are now looking to expand our Insurance audit team.
You will get the opportunity to work with and collaborate with colleagues across the BDO network.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for all stages of insurance audit engagements including planning, execution, and completion.
You will be a fundamental part of a multi-jurisdictional team.
Supervise junior audit staff, providing direction and guidance throughout the audit process.
You will be the main point of contact during onsite audit field with clients, and responsible for communicating with, and managing client expectations.
Key communicator with management and partner on progress and status of various audits.
Adhering to budgets and ensure deadlines are met will be a key element to the role.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
3–4 years’ experience working in Audit, ideally with Insurance or Financial Services exposure.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of auditing standards.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a client service ethos.
Adaptable and open to change.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (essential).
Ambitious and self-motivated.
Demonstrates strong initiative.
