Responsible for the daily setup, operation, and removal of audio-visual equipment for hotel events. The role involves providing high-quality face-to-face customer service to meeting clients and hotel staff.
Requires basic AV technical skills and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Candidates must be physically able to lift 25lbs and stand for 8 hours a day.
Description
The candidate’s role will include the set up, operation and removal of audio visual equipment on a day-to-day basis, and provide great face to face interactions with both meeting customers and hoteliers (also our customers). This position will also, upon qualifications, include the set-up, operation, and striking of higher end event equipment such as intelligent lighting equipment, digital audio consoles, and HD projection/video switching. The team member should be friendly, flexible to change at a moment’s notice, be cognizant of the importance of safety for customers and their teammates, and genuinely enjoy serving others. Technical skills are important, but just as, if not more important, are customer service skills, energy, positive attitude, and drive. The candidate needs to be able to spend at least 8 hours a day on their feet, lift at least 25lbs above waist height, be able to travel to other venues, and have some MAC and Windows experience. Knowledge of high-speed networking is a plus. Availability required Monday-Sunday, days and nights.

This position may require driving a company vehicle. You must be in possession of a valid driver’s license. A clean driving record over the past three (3) years is required.
