The Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth by developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and promoting innovative automation solutions to the industrial market.

This is a commercial role for a professional who combines technical understanding with strong sales and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand a portfolio of industrial customers across your area of responsibility.
• Identify, approach and convert new business opportunities into long-term partnerships.
• Build trusted relationships with production managers, engineers and key decision-makers.
• Understand customer challenges and identify opportunities for automation, digitalization and process improvement.
• Work closely with engineering teams to develop and present technical and commercial proposals.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and opportunity development to negotiation and contract award.
• Maintain and continuously develop a healthy sales pipeline through the company's CRM tools.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies.
• Represent AS Hellas at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in B2B technical sales.
• Strong commercial mindset with a passion for business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships and influence decision-makers.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability for travel within Greece and occasionally abroad.
• Valid driving license.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Building Automation or related industrial sectors.
• Experience with CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
