The Patient Access Specialist manages inbound and outbound patient communications, including inquiries, registration, and scheduling. They are responsible for maintaining accurate patient logs, routing registration forms, and providing superior service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in patient contact or scheduling. Proficiency in Microsoft and EMR platforms, along with knowledge of HIPAA compliance, is required, with bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred.
Our Patient Access Specialist - Bilingual / Spanish will ensure positive and proactive communications with prospective and existing patients via inbound and outbound telephone calls and email. The communication should be aligned and with the focus on providing the best possible patient experience at all times. This position handles all new patient inquiries, obtains patient registration, and reports weekly and monthly data (inquiries and registrations) as requested.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required. Soft skills must include empathy and compassion. Must be open to training to ensure the individual is the subject matter expert in proactive fertility care.
Work Schedule: This position begins as a fully on-site role. Team members who demonstrate strong performance and reliability during their first 90 days will be eligible to transition to a hybrid work schedule, with the opportunity to work remotely on a part-time basis.
