THE BUSINESS
We are Everyday Luxury™.
It's what we do and how we do it — together.
It's working alongside world-class talent in pursuit of world-class results.
It's maximizing your potential in a high-performance culture.
It's knowing that wherever you are, you belong.
It's elevating your world — and the world of those who love and will love Aritzia.
It's You. And an endless runway of opportunity.
With a Global Support Campus in Vancouver and additional Support Office hubs in major cities across North America — including Toronto, New York, Los Angeles and Seattle — our workplace network is strategically designed to support our People and serve our Clients a frictionless experience. So, you can do what you do best — with us.
THE TEAM
The mission of the Talent Management Department (HR Business Partner) is to build high-performing teams and maximize business performance.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is in a period of exceptional growth, and we are intentionally elevating our investment in Talent Management Business Partners as a core driver of how we scale. This is a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of talent and business strategy, partnering directly with executive leaders to evolve our operating models and elevating our people to their highest potential.
In this department you will help leaders make better, faster decisions about their teams, while raising the bar on talent across the business.
This is not a traditional HR role. This is a high-impact operator role focused on building a stronger business through talent. You will be a trusted partner to the business, shaping decisions through a people and organizational lens, with a strong connection to operating and financial outcomes. You will lead a team responsible for how talent is assessed, developed, and deployed across, ensuring we build the leadership and capability required to support a high performing business, now and in the future. We are currently building our Talent Management Business Partner teams across all levels (Specialists, Managers, & Directors) in several areas of the business including Digital, Technology, Product, Manufacturing, People & Culture, Food & Beverage, Supply Chain and more.
THE ROLE
As a member of the Talent Management Business Partner team you will:
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the business, advising on talent, organization, and operating model decisions as the business scales
Deliver talent lifecycle programs that support and elevate our people
Establish and drive proactive solutions to ensure we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time, and in the right quantity for our business needs
Consistently attract and acquire the best talent for the business, for today and tomorrow
Lead the strategy to accelerate productivity and cultural integration of our people with minimal business disruptions
Drive successful execution of performance and potential assessments to inform quality people decisions
Maximize and accelerate the growth of high performing talent, and inspire sustained performance and commitment to Aritzia
Drive continuous performance and commitment with strategic, smart-spending solutions
Drive the strategy and successful execution of transitions, accelerating stabilization and productivity with minimal business disruptions
Establish and enforce fair and consistent practices that support our employees while mitigating undue risk
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
THE QUALIFICATIONS
TMBPs at Aritzia have:
Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and experience in:
Partnering with business leaders to inform people decisions through an operational and financial lens
Human Capital, HR Transformation, HRBP, People Programs, Organizational Effectiveness or similar
HR Certification is an asset but not mandatory
A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value
A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate
