Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures for level 6 business courses and provide academic support as a Personal Academic Coach. Manage modules, oversee assessment marking, and contribute to the development of innovative learning materials.
Requirements
Requires a Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area. Candidates must hold or be committed to obtaining a recognised HE teaching qualification or Advance HE Fellowship.
This role will require a presence of at least 3 /4 days a week on our Holborn campus, with 1 day working from home to suit the student timetable. You maybe required to be on campus 5 days a week in some cases, based on teaching and meeting requirements. Our hybrid working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit which could changes at any point during your employment, so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

About our Department:
The Department of Business Management Top Up sits within our School of Business Management and Creativity which is one of the biggest schools at Arden University. We have a fantastic team of Academics that are teaching a variety of Business Management courses such as Business Finance, Business Marketing, Business and Computing, Business Accounting and Finance, Business / HR management.
About the Opportunity:
The growth of the School for Business Management and Creativity in terms of increasing student enrolments and the creation of new, innovative programmes means that we need to recruit excellent Business lecturers to ensure ongoing success. This role focusses on teaching our level 6 courses, which includes 16 hours of teaching on site in Holborn per week.
This role will be reporting into one of our Senior Lecturers within the school. As a Business Lecturer you will:
Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures onsite
Support student success as a named Personal Academic Coach (PAC) to a defined caseload of students - promoting engagement, progression, achievement and successful completion.
Take on module leadership, ensuring consistent quality and development of learning materials and schemes of work.
Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback.
Lead or support the creation of new programmes and refresh existing ones to align with industry trends and employer requirements.
Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support, and assessment techniques.
About You:
We would like to hear from applicants who have:
Master’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification in subject relevant to the teaching area.
A recognised HE Teaching Qualification and /or Advance HE Fellowship at FHEA/SFHEA level or demonstrate commitment to gain this recognition within 12 months of appointment
The ability to evidence CPD to show your commitment to enhancing your knowledge and teaching capability, including your practical teaching methods and techniques.
The ability to demonstrate excellent breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline/subject area to cover Level 4 to Level 7
