Summary: The Customer Service Representative, reporting to the Illinois Customer Service Manager, is directly responsible for providing support to customers. Acts as a liaison between customers, operations, and sales team.
Interact with customers daily to drive, develop, and expand our presence. Independently communicate product knowledge, order fulfillment, request for information, general inquiries, etc.
Act as a liaison between customers, operations, and sales. Process customer inquiries in a timely fashion. Support Anderson Process Core Values: Growth, Expertise, Embrace Change, Teamwork, & Community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process quotes, orders, and RMAs in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate with Engineering and Sales on inquiries which require involvement from both groups.
Prioritize, respond to and flag incoming phone calls, e-mail messages and faxes.
Maintain client relationships by providing exemplary customer experience, empathy, and professionalism.
Attend product training sessions to support department and business goals.
Support teamwork and communication within department and organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Experience:
Minimal Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and high standards of work quality.
Excellent communication skills, multi-tasking, and problem-solving ability.
Excellent interpersonal skills; professional and outgoing personality.
Preferred Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
Pump, industrial hose, or filter experience.
Customer service experience in the industrial equipment industry.
P21 (Prophet/Epicor), and/or equivalent ERP system usage.
2+ years customer service experience, working in a call center or professional office environment.
Willingness to take on new challenges and seek out opportunities to improve business operations.
