Perform planned and reactive painting and decorating work across all areas of the prison. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and maintain company tools and materials.
Candidates must be qualified to NVQ 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating with previous relevant work experience. Ability to work comfortably alongside prisoners and obtain Prison Security Clearance is required.

The standard hours of work are 39-hours per week, Monday – Friday. There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).
The base salary is between £28,792 - £33,532 dependant on experience.

By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.
The Painter/Decorator plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.
