The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, replacement, and renewal of plant equipment and components. They must also perform preventative maintenance, document all work activities, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and achieve a minimum score of 70% on a technical knowledge test or complete an approved apprenticeship. A valid forklift license and the ability to perform physical maintenance tasks are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum score of 70% on knowledge (including both practical and written) test chosen by GKN Sinter Metals or completion of approved apprenticeship program
High School Diploma/GED
Valid Forklift License (This is obtained at GKN), valid articulated scissor lift license and Genie Boom.
Necessary eye and muscular coordination to perform job.
