Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role
As a Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with operational leaders to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for a portfolio of business areas.
You'll help leaders understand their financial and operational performance by providing meaningful analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting robust decision-making. You'll also contribute to organisation-wide planning processes and work with colleagues across Finance to continuously improve the way we plan, report and measure performance.

Ō pūmanawa | About you
You're an analytical finance professional who enjoys working alongside leaders to solve problems and improve organisational performance.
You can translate financial information into practical advice and build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You're comfortable working with data, asking insightful questions and helping others understand the financial implications of their decisions.
You'll bring:
A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Commerce or a related discipline.
Experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting or business partnering.
Analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-financial audiences.
A collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA or similar, along with experience in research, science or public sector organisations, would be advantageous but are not essential.
