We’re offering an internship opportunity for students passionate about autonomous driving perception and computer vision. This is a chance to work with commercial-grade autonomous machines and closely to our autonomy team.
The role focuses on developing software for processing point clouds, extracting useful measurements, and performing volumetric analysis. You will work with data coming from sensors such as LiDARs and cameras, and help build tools that allow our autonomy and operations teams to better understand the environment around our vehicles and equipment.
- 3rd or 4th year college [students] from computer engineering, mechatronics, and computer science - who are willing to do their bachelor thesis in or related to autonomous driving.
- Candidate must be a student throughout the whole internship period
- Familiar with cameras, LIDARs data (i.e. images, point clouds, etc.)
- Familiar with PCL and OpenCV
- Available 2 days/week for work in Cairo, EG location (timing is flexible).
- Passion for research and learning.
- Fluency with Ubuntu/Linux, ROS, and C++ is a nice to have.
