Provides general medical care in an outpatient clinic, including obtaining vitals, administering treatments, and performing laboratory tests. Responsible for preparing exam rooms, managing patient documentation, and coordinating physician referrals.
Requires an associate degree or equivalent technical schooling, or 6-12 months of related experience. AMT registration or AAMA certification is preferred.
Appointments are never a required at AFC Urgent Care Stamford. We are a walk-in urgent care clinic that will help any patients who walk in. There is little to no wait and can be a convenient alternative when you cannot get an appointment with your primary care. We are also an alternative to an emergency room for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. All of our services are available for walk-in services.
