The Environmental Project Manager will oversee the management of complex site investigation and remediation projects while driving business development and financial performance. They are responsible for ensuring project objectives are met, managing client relationships, and providing technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, or environmental science with at least 6 years of relevant experience. Strong regulatory knowledge, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills are required for this role.

AECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Project/Program Manager for immediate employment in our Oakland, California office. In this role, you will be making a positive impact in the community through rewarding projects within our Environmental Practices.
This hybrid position (office and remote) requires the ideal candidate to demonstrate experience in regulatory and client engagement on complex sites, as well as investigation and remediation project experience, all while maintaining a strong emphasis on health and safety. The candidate should be detail-oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be capable of working independently while collaborating within a high-performance team.

In this position, you will also be responsible for supporting business development for the Oakland office, technical delivery, stakeholder engagement and communication, and financial management.
