Responsibilities

The Dental Assistant will support restorative procedures, capture X-rays, and perform coronal polishing and sealants. They are also responsible for reviewing medical histories, accurate charting, and managing patient flow within the office.

Requirements

Candidates must hold active KY EDDA/expanded-duties, X-ray, and CPR/BLS certifications. A patient-first attitude and willingness to train at existing locations before transitioning to the new Jeffersontown office are required.

Description

Advanced Dental Center is opening a brand-new location on Taylorsville Road in the heart of Jeffersontown on September 1st, 2026 and we're hiring our Dental Assistants now so you can train with us at one of our four existing Louisville offices. 

A day at ADC

You'll start with a quick morning huddle, greet patients with a warm smile, review medical histories, and capture X-rays. Throughout the day you'll assist on restorative procedures, place temporaries, perform coronal polishing and sealants, chart notes accurately, walk patients to checkout, and turn the room. Things move — but they move with you, not over you.

What you bring

  • Active KY EDDA / expanded-duties certification
  • X-ray certification (required)
  • CPR / BLS certification (required)
  • Coronal polishing certification (preferred)
  • A warm, patient-first attitude
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Willingness to train at one of our existing Louisville locations through summer 2026, then transition to the Jeffersontown office when it opens
