The Counselor Assistant is responsible for monitoring the physical and emotional status of clients while ensuring program compliance and safety within the residence. They also provide support to residents, maintain detailed logs, and transport clients to various appointments and activities.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid New York State driver license. Preference is given to those with CPR and First Aid certification or those who have completed a 350-hour CASAC course.
Counselor Assistant Responsibilities:
Licenses, Certificates, or Registrations: Valid New York State driver license required. CPR and First Aid certified preferred.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Attending or completed 350-hour CASAC course a plus.
Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday; 4pm-12am
