Supervise visitations between children and parents to promote safe reunification while providing parenting skills assistance and coaching. Document progress, report concerns to caseworkers, and provide transportation for families.
Requires fluency in Spanish, a valid driver's license with insurance, and a clear criminal background. A bachelor's degree in Human Services is preferred but not required, and candidates must be at least 21 years old.

At A Blessing of Hope Family Services, we’re committed to reunifying families across Nebraska and Colorado and empowering parents and children to thrive. We’re looking for Family Service Specialists who are positive, compassionate, and driven to help families in need. As a Family Service Specialist, you will supervise visits in the client home, community during the evenings (2pm-8pm) and regularly at least one weekend day each week. The Families we serve have had children removed from the home and placed into the child welfare system due to allegations of abuse and/or neglect.
During these supervised visits, you will provide engaging parenting skills assistant, help to strengthen a family’s bond, and in the moment redirection and parent coaching in order to promote the safe and successful reunification of families.
You will be an advocate for the families, setting goals with the assistance of the caseworker and families, documenting progress, reporting any concerns of alleged abuse/neglect, testifying in court as needed, and providing transportation for the children and families we serve.
