Currently a Senior Sales Engineer at Samsara for the US East Coast Enterprise team. Promoted from the mid market team in 2024. Winner of the FY23 President’s Club award for top mid market Sales Engineer in the US. I am the presale technical point of contact for all hardware, software, integration, and API related questions for my team of ~4 account executives. I am skilled at presenting and demoing technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite leaders, determining customer/user needs, and progressing deals by overcoming objections and solving problems. In addition to this, I often test and provide feedback on new devices, features, and UX designs. Formerly, I was senior software engineer at Capital One. While there, I was on a support DevOps team for the enterprise CI/CD pipeline to Amazon Web Service. We primarily used Python, Groovy, Terraform, and Powershell to create scripts and tools. Before that, I was a full stack (Java/Angular) engineer developing a multi million dollar generating/saving marketing campaign engine. First on the API backend, then on the front end UI team. Accomplishments as software engineer include: - Developed desired enhancements/ functionality into the CI/CD tools and marketing engine - automated the install of New Relic monitoring service into the pipeline tools - Optimized the enterprises CI/CD wait time by at least 25% - Automated the marketing UI’s pipeline deployment, cutting manual deployment times by 80%. - Championed user feedback, user support, and user analytics for the marketing platform, overhauling all 3 processes. Outside of work, I have actively volunteered and given back to Penn State since 2019. 1) Penn State Smeal MOL program ambassadors, where I am often invited to speak to current and prospective students (2019+) 2) ASB Student Success Committee, a Smeal alumni organization to assist students that have fallen behind in their school careers. (2022+) 3) Volunteer to meet with students in both Smeal and IST to discuss career goals and skills, such as resume building, interviewing, and networking (2019+).
