Position Overview
Zema Global is looking for a Financial Systems Manager to take ownership of our financial systems landscape - including NetSuite, Floqast, Deel, and Claude — which we’re actively rebuilding from the ground up. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role reporting directly to the VP, Global Controller. We need someone who is excited to build systems that integrate and scale with the business; this is not a maintenance-only job.
This is a rare chance to build a financial systems function from the ground up at a company in active growth mode. You’ll have direct access to the VP, Global Controller and real influence over how these systems are designed going forward.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct a rapid, day-one assessment of our current NetSuite setup and support the re-launch of the Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module project already underway.
Own the health, configuration, and administration of our core financial systems: NetSuite, Deel, and Floqast.
Design and build the connections between systems that don’t currently talk to each other.
Evaluate and implement integration/iPaaS tooling (e.g., Celigo) to connect systems at scale.
Partner with the VP, Global Controller and VP, Finance on close-process automation and system controls.
Support the future rollout of an FP&A platform.
Act as the internal systems expert across a growing, multi-entity, international structure.
Advise on AI integration within the Accounting and Finance teams.
What You'll Bring
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar. Accounting/another relevant discipline can still be considered.
7–10 years of experience in financial systems administration/management, ideally in a company with multi-entity or international complexity.
Working experience as a NetSuite administrator; an HRIS/payroll platform (Deel or similar), Floqast, and an AP system (Concur/Ramp/similar)
A demonstrated track record of building systems and process from scratch, not just maintaining what exists.
Experience with Celigo or another NetSuite iPaaS/connector platform.
Experience with NetSuite’s Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module.
Comfort operating with ambiguity and incomplete documentation.
Strong cross-functional communication skills, specifically with Accounting, Finance, HR, Sales Ops, and other external partners.
Desirable
NetSuite certification (Administrator or SuiteFoundation).
Prior experience in a PE-backed company or through an M&A integration.
