Summary of Responsibilities

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for all aspects of daily shipping activities.  This role works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and other Warehouse Technicians, assuring all outgoing materials are entered into the computerized inventory control system (LX), meeting established targets.

Essential Functions

    Complies with all Company safety standards.  Actively participates in safety programs and is a safety advocate.

    Conducts Shipping and Receiving activities, including, but not limited to:

    Equipment Operation (Forklift, Floor Scrubber, Stretch Wrapper, Roll Clamp, etc.)

    Generating system Bills Of Lading through LX and Custom programs

    Handwriting Bills of Lading for non-LX items.

    Receiving and processing RMAs

    Loading/Bracing trucks and containers for shipments.

    Compiling shipping paperwork for filling

    Picking and staging products and materials for Finishing

    Picks items and complete pick list off of LX and Custom programs. 

    Inputs Carrier Pro Numbers into LX and Custom programs while dispatching orders daily.

    Confirms and audits shipments in the computerized system.

    Maintains correct inventory at all times by conducting cycle count, performing required LX transactions, and staging items per established procedures.

    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

    Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation.  

    Must be able to coordinate several activities simultaneously.  

    Works well within a self-directed team environment; ability to support team efforts to meet safety, quality, production, and good housekeeping goals. 

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
